In our life, things never go as planned. We find that we don’t get the job we have been hoping for, loose the job we have love so much, the computer crashes, fail a test, or get a bad review at work bad things happen. We could go on and on about the bad things that have happened in our life. These things always seen like the work is ending. What appends when someone thing worse appends that can truly change our world. Like if we lose a loved one, what are we going to do and how are we going to handle them. Bad things are going to happen to us; people need to learn to never go and do something we will one day regret when bad things happen.
When I was about 19 years old I was in Pennsylvania visiting a church congregation, and there was a man that was up on the pulpit speaking to the people. This man had just lost his son very recently. He went over the sad story of the death of his son about, how his family has become closer together, and how the lord loved them and needed his son. As he was talking, he gave a quote that has stuck with me the rest of my life. He said to us, “Sometimes God asks us to endure us hard things. That if we move all of our worldly hardships, it still hurts.”
What defines us a person is how they deal with these hard situations that seem to come up in our lives. Are we going to decide to embrace these hard times, like the man before, or are going to blame the world, God, and loved ones. Everyone deals with problems in their own way, and that is not a bad thing, but what really makes problems is when we become bitter and hate filled with the problems we have. If people would just learn how to deal with problems like adults, not forget about them but accept them and get help, then we would have much better world. On the other hand, who can say one thing that will help the world more than others?
